With the outbreak of Covid-19, women and girls worldwide have been the target of a new form of violence. To be accurate, it is a new sort of “domestic violence”.
According to a recent report issued by the United Nation, the rates of recorded incidents of violence against women worldwide have doubled to the extent that they called it a “hidden epidemic”.
